Advantix Dog Tick and Flea Spot-On Treatment is a monthly topical parasite treatment for dogs and puppies from seven weeks of age. It combines imidacloprid and permethrin to kill and repel fleas, ticks, mosquitoes and biting flies.
The product spreads across the skin after application and acts through contact. Its repellent action helps reduce parasite attachment and biting, although no treatment can completely eliminate the possibility of a bite or disease transmission.

Current local variants cover Medium dogs from 4–10kg, Large dogs from 10–25kg and X-Large dogs over 25kg. The previous Small size has been discontinued locally, so smaller dogs require veterinary guidance on a suitable alternative.
Advantix is strictly for dogs. Permethrin is highly toxic to cats and exposure can cause severe neurological signs or death. Never apply the dog product to a cat, and keep treated dogs separated from cats until the application site is fully dry.
Select the pipette according to the dog’s current weight and apply the full contents directly to intact skin. Do not split one pipette between animals or use a size intended for a different weight range.
Monthly treatment supports ongoing control, but household flea management may also require washing bedding, cleaning resting areas and treating other pets with species-appropriate products.

Critical cat warning: Never use Advantix on cats. Keep cats away from treated dogs until the application area is completely dry. Seek urgent veterinary help after any feline exposure.
