Product Details

The Medium and Large pipettes contain the same active ingredients at the same solution concentration. The volume changes to provide the appropriate amount for each body-weight range.

The product is intended for cats only. Do not apply a cat pipette to a dog or divide one pipette informally between animals.

Weigh the cat as accurately as possible. Guessing from breed or appearance can lead to selection of the wrong weight category.

Keep the pipette sealed until use and dispose of the empty applicator where children and animals cannot reach it.

Active Ingredients

The Medium 0.70ml pipette supplies 15mg emodepside and approximately 60mg praziquantel. The Large 1.12ml pipette supplies 24mg emodepside and approximately 96mg praziquantel.

Profender is intended for mixed internal worm infections covered by its two active ingredients. It is not a flea, tick or ear-mite treatment.

Directions and Warnings

1. Weigh the cat and select the correct Medium or Large pipette.
2. Remove the pipette from its packaging and open it.
3. Part the hair at the base of the head until the skin is visible.
4. Place the pipette tip directly against the skin.
5. Squeeze out the complete contents in one spot.
6. Do not rub the solution into the coat.
7. Allow the application area to dry before close handling.

Apply the liquid where the cat cannot easily lick the site. If it is placed mainly on the hair rather than the skin, absorption may be reduced.

Do not use on broken or irritated skin. Avoid bathing immediately around treatment unless the product instructions permit it.

The timing of repeat deworming depends on age, lifestyle, hunting, flea exposure, household pets and veterinary advice. Cats that hunt or live with fleas may require a structured parasite-control programme.

Seek veterinary help if the cat develops marked drooling, vomiting, poor coordination, severe skin irritation or another unexpected reaction after application.

Store unused pipettes in their outer packaging away from heat, food and unauthorised access.
