Coachi Training Dumbbell Dog Toy
Coachi Training Dumbbell Dog Toy is a classic retrieval-training aid for puppies and adult dogs. Its balanced dumbbell shape is easy to see, throw and retrieve during structured training or supervised everyday play.
The toy is highly buoyant and floats, making it suitable for retrieval practice on land or in water. Bright colours help the handler and dog locate it in fields, gardens and suitable swimming areas.
- Classic retrieval-training shape
- Floats for water retrieval
- Bright colours improve visibility
- Suitable for puppy and gun-dog training
- Supports exercise and everyday play
- Durable construction for active use
- Available in Medium and Large
Use the dumbbell to teach a controlled retrieve, hold and release. Begin over a short distance, reward calm pickup and return, and increase distance only after the dog understands the exercise.
Medium measures approximately 14cm and Large approximately 19cm. Select a size that is comfortable to hold but remains too large for the dog to swallow.
The dumbbell can support gun-dog exercises, puppy development and general fetch practice. Training should remain positive, measured and suitable for the dog’s age and fitness.
For water retrieval, choose calm, shallow conditions with safe entry and exit. The toy floats, but it is not a flotation device and does not make unsafe water suitable.
This is a retrieval toy rather than a chew item. Remove it after the exercise and do not allow unsupervised gnawing or prolonged possession.
Keep throws away from roads, glass, stairs and other hazards. Use sufficient open space and stop training before the dog becomes overheated or fatigued.
Clean the dumbbell regularly using mild soap and water, rinse thoroughly and dry before storage. Check the surface for cracking, sharp damage or loose pieces.
Replace the toy when wear could affect safe handling or create pieces small enough to swallow. Keep the selected dumbbell reserved for structured retrieval so the dog learns a consistent training routine.
