Baskerville Ultra Muzzle
Baskerville Ultra Muzzle is a strong basket-style dog muzzle designed for safer management during vet visits, grooming appointments, public transport, walks and other situations where additional control may be required. Its open basket allows normal panting, drinking and reward delivery when correctly fitted.
The durable Thermoplastic Rubber basket can be heat shaped to better match the dog’s nose width and facial shape. Adjustable straps, a head strap and collar loop support stability.
- Humane basket-style design
- Allows panting, drinking and treat delivery
- Strong Thermoplastic Rubber construction
- Can be heat shaped for a customised fit
- Head strap and collar loop improve stability
- Available in six sizes from Size 1 to Size 6
The Ultra Muzzle can support safer handling during travel, grooming, veterinary care, walks and unfamiliar situations. It may also help manage scavenging.
A muzzle is a management tool, not a replacement for training or supervision. Introduce it gradually with treats and positive associations before stressful use.
Allow the dog to investigate voluntarily. Reward nose placement, fasten it briefly, then increase wearing time while the dog remains relaxed.
The basket must provide room for full panting. A tight muzzle can restrict cooling and drinking, while a loose one may rub or shift.
Always supervise a muzzled dog and remove it if breathing, panting, drinking or comfort appears restricted.

Materials & Fit
The Thermoplastic Rubber basket and straps should sit securely without pressing into the skin or eye area.
- Measure nose length and circumference before selecting a size.
- Measure circumference around the widest part of the nose below the eyes.
- Measure length from the nose tip to the base below the eyes.
- Allow approximately 1cm between the nose tip and the basket end.
- Ensure the dog can fully pant and drink.
- Use the head strap and collar loop for added stability.
- Supervise the dog whenever the muzzle is worn.
To heat shape, place the basket in hot tap water for approximately two minutes. Shape it when safe to touch, cool it in cold water and recheck the fit.

FAQs

Which sizes are available?
The range includes Size 1 through Size 6.
How is the correct size selected?
Measure nose length and circumference and compare both measurements with the size chart.
Can the basket shape be adjusted?
Yes. The Thermoplastic Rubber basket can be warmed in hot tap water and shaped by hand.
Does it prevent all scavenging?
It may help manage scavenging, but it is not a complete anti-scavenge barrier.

No. A dog wearing a muzzle must remain supervised.
How should a dog be introduced to it?
Use treats, short sessions and gradual positive-reinforcement training before longer wear.
