PetLove Mighty Mutts Rubber Bone
PetLove Mighty Mutts Rubber Bone is a durable hollow dog toy designed for strong chewers and energetic supervised play. The bone shape provides several gripping points, while the open centre can be filled with treats, peanut butter or another dog-safe spread.
Stuffing the centre can turn the bone into a longer-lasting enrichment activity. Use part of the dog’s measured daily food or suitable treats and clean the hollow area thoroughly after use.
- Tough rubber-style chew toy
- Hollow centre holds treats or spreads
- Floats for supervised water play
- Suitable for chewing, fetch and carrying
- Three weight-based sizes
- Designed for dogs with powerful bites
The material is designed to withstand vigorous play better than an ordinary soft toy. However, the manufacturer notes that a small number of exceptionally strong dogs may still chew through it, so regular inspection remains essential.
The floating construction allows the bone to be used for supervised retrieving at a suitable pool, beach or calm-water area. It is not a flotation device and must not replace water-safety precautions.
Choose the size according to the dog’s body weight, mouth size and chewing behaviour. A correct toy should be comfortable to carry but too large to swallow or lodge in the mouth.
For food enrichment, begin with a filling that is easy to remove so the dog learns how the toy works. More difficult fillings can be introduced gradually, provided the ingredients suit the dog’s diet and the toy is cleaned immediately afterwards.
No rubber toy is indestructible. Remove it if deep cuts, missing pieces, cracking or structural weakness develop, and do not allow any fragment to be swallowed.

- Inspect the toy before and after use.
- Remove it if pieces loosen or deep damage appears.
- Use only dog-safe fillings.
- Wash out food residue promptly.
- Store the bone clean and dry.
Size Guide
| Size | Dog Weight | Approximate Dimensions |
|---|---|---|
| Small | 6–15kg | 11 x 7 x 3.5cm |
| Medium | 13.5–27kg | 14 x 9 x 4cm |
| Large | 27–40kg | 16 x 10 x 5.5cm |
Where weight ranges overlap, consider mouth size and chewing strength. Select the larger safe option if the smaller bone could fit too deeply inside the mouth.
