Materials and Safety
Materials
The kit contains a slicker brush, comb and flea comb. Exact material composition is not stated on the official product page, so follow the packaging for full item details and care instructions.
| Safety Item | Guidance |
|---|---|
| Before use | Check that the tool is clean, intact and suitable for the grooming task. |
| During use | Work slowly and never force grooming if your pet is distressed. |
| After use | Clean away loose hair or debris and store safely. |
| Special care | Ask a professional if the area is painful, matted, wounded or irritated. |
Grooming should feel controlled and calm, not rushed. Sharp grooming tools, nail tools and facial trimming items need extra care because sudden movement can lead to accidental nicks or discomfort.
How to Use
Keep sessions short and positive. Gently brush small areas, then use the comb to check for tangles and the flea comb as part of a coat-check routine. Do not pull on knots. Stop if your puppy becomes worried, and ask a groomer or vet for guidance if the coat is matted or the skin is irritated.
| Step | Guidance |
|---|---|
| Prepare | Choose a quiet space with good light and keep treats nearby if appropriate. |
| Introduce | Let your pet see and smell the tool before using it. |
| Groom | Use gentle movements and stop before your pet becomes overwhelmed. |
| Finish | Praise your pet and store the grooming item safely. |
Small, regular grooming sessions are usually easier than waiting until the job becomes difficult. Build the habit gently and keep the experience as positive as possible.
