Halti Safety Link for Dog Headcollars

Halti Safety Link is a compact dog-walking accessory designed to connect a compatible Halti headcollar to the D-ring on the dog’s regular collar. This creates an additional attachment between the two pieces of walking equipment.

The link threads through the lead ring on the Halti headcollar, while its trigger hook clips onto the collar D-ring. It is useful as a replacement link or as a spare for owners who use a Halti headcollar or compatible OptiFit model.

  • Replacement safety attachment for Halti headcollars
  • Connects the headcollar to a regular dog collar
  • Trigger hook attaches to the collar D-ring
  • Threads through the headcollar lead ring
  • One-size design
  • Black finish
  • Small and easy to keep with walking equipment
  • Designed for straightforward fitting

An Extra Connection During Walks

The link does not replace the headcollar, collar or lead. It simply joins the headcollar and collar, and both items must still fit correctly.

Materials & Compatibility

Halti presents this item as a safety link for compatible Halti headcollars and OptiFit headcollars. Compatibility should be checked against the headcollar’s lead ring and the dog collar’s D-ring before use.

  • Use only with correctly fitted walking equipment.
  • Check the trigger hook and loop for wear before each walk.
  • Make sure the dog’s collar D-ring is secure.
  • Do not attach the link to damaged webbing or hardware.
  • Replace the item if it becomes stretched, frayed or difficult to fasten.
  • Do not allow the dog to chew or play with the link.

This accessory adds a connection but does not make unsuitable equipment secure. Select a correctly sized headcollar and collar, and supervise the dog whenever walking equipment is worn.
