Halti Active Bungee Lead Large

Halti Active Bungee Lead Large is a multi-purpose dog lead designed for standard hand-held walking, hands-free use around the waist and temporary tethering where appropriate. Its approximately 2.1m length gives active dog owners flexible handling for walks, hikes and running.

A strong elastic shock absorber softens sudden jolts between dog and handler, while the neoprene-padded handle offers a more comfortable grip. A separate traffic handle provides a closer hold when passing through busy areas or when shorter control is needed.

  • Large black dog lead
  • Approximately 2.1m long
  • Can be used hand-held or around the waist
  • Built-in elastic shock absorber
  • Neoprene-padded handle and belt section
  • Close-control traffic handle
  • Reinforced trigger clip
  • Reflective stitching for added low-light visibility

Versatile Handling for Active Walks

The adjustable quick-release handle extends into a belt for hands-free use while keeping the dog connected to the handler. Attentive supervision remains essential.

Materials & Safety

The lead uses durable nylon webbing with neoprene padding, reflective stitching, an elastic shock-absorbing section and metal attachment hardware. The three-point button-release clasp on the adjustable handle helps secure the hand-held or belt arrangement.

  • Check the webbing, stitching, bungee and clips before every walk.
  • Attach the trigger clip to a correctly fitted collar or harness ring.
  • Use the traffic handle when closer control is required.
  • Do not allow the dog to chew the lead.
  • Stop using the product if any component becomes worn or damaged.
  • Hands-free use still requires active attention and control.

Sudden pulling may still affect the handler even with a shock absorber. Choose routes, pace and handling methods that suit both the dog and the person wearing or holding the lead.

How to Use

Use Guidance
Hand-held walking Secure the handle and attach the trigger clip to the dog’s collar or harness.
Hands-free walking Extend and fasten the adjustable handle around the waist before attaching the dog.
Close control Hold the traffic handle when a shorter lead length is needed.
Temporary tethering Fasten only to a stable point and remain with the dog.
After use Check for wear and allow damp webbing to dry before storage.

Introduce the waist-belt arrangement in a quiet area before using it on busier routes. Make sure the belt sits securely and can be released when necessary.
