Kyron Avert Bitter Solution is an extremely bitter liquid made to discourage pets from licking, biting or chewing treated surfaces. It can be applied to bandages, dressings, areas around open wounds, stitches and suitable household objects.

The alcoholic base evaporates quickly, leaving treated bandages and dressings dry while the bitter principles remain behind. Avert may also be used on birds to discourage feather plucking when applied according to the product guidance.

Ingredients & Safety

The active ingredients are 4% denatonium benzoate, bitter orange oil and eucalyptus oil. The product also contains a high percentage of alcohol.

  • Avoid eyes, mouth and inhalation exposure.
