This is a lightweight clay-based clumping litter with an unscented, low-dust formula. It is intended only for use as cat litter and is not for human consumption.

  • Wash hands thoroughly after cleaning the litter tray.
  • Use gloves when handling soiled litter.
  • Keep the jug closed and dry between refills.
  • Sweep up tracked litter around the tray.
  • Do not allow children to play with clean or soiled litter.
  • Dispose of used litter according to local household waste guidance.
  • Pregnant people should avoid cleaning litter trays because soiled litter may contain Toxoplasma gondii.

Directions for Use

  1. Begin with a clean, completely dry litter tray.
  2. Add enough litter to maintain a depth of approximately 7.5–10 cm after scooping.
  3. Remove clumps and solid waste every day with a suitable litter scoop.
  4. Top up the tray with fresh litter to restore the recommended depth.
  5. When transitioning from another product, mix equal parts old and new litter for one week before using SmartCat litter exclusively.
  6. Clean and dry the tray thoroughly when a full litter change is required.

Place the tray in a quiet area with easy access. The brand recommends one tray per cat plus one additional tray, especially where several cats share the home.
