The Velcro straps allow the product to be secured to a suitable piece of furniture. Choose a stable location that will not tip, shift or become damaged during scratching.

The board should sit firmly inside its sheath before use. Check that no loose corner or strap section can catch around a paw.

The product is intended for indoor scratching and enrichment. It should not be used as a climbing support or placed where it could fall onto the cat.

Materials and Safety

The scratcher combines a perforated cardboard board, an outer sheath and Velcro attachment straps. The replaceable design allows the cardboard component to be renewed while the main holder remains in use.

• Attach only to stable, suitable furniture.
• Check every Velcro strap before use.
• Keep the board securely fitted inside the sheath.
• Trim or remove long loose cardboard pieces.
• Do not allow cats to chew the Velcro straps.
• Remove the product if it becomes unstable.
• Keep the cardboard dry.
• Replace the board after both sides are heavily worn.

Cardboard naturally frays as a cat scratches. Light surface wear is expected, but long torn strips, loose straps or exposed damaged sections should be dealt with promptly.

Supervise the first few uses to confirm that the chosen furniture remains stable and the cat interacts safely with the mounted board.

Do not attach the scratcher to fragile upholstery, lightweight furniture, electrical equipment or a surface that may be damaged by Velcro straps.

Catnip is normally used in small amounts for feline enrichment. Keep the powder container closed and avoid allowing the cat to consume large loose quantities.

Setup and Use

1. Select a stable piece of suitable furniture.
2. Fit the cardboard board securely inside the sheath.
3. Fasten the Velcro straps firmly around the chosen support.
4. Check that the scratcher cannot slide or fall.
5. Rub a small amount of the supplied catnip into the cardboard.
6. Allow the cat to investigate voluntarily.
7. Reverse the board once the first side becomes worn.

Place the scratcher near an area the cat already targets, such as the side of a sofa or chair. This makes it easier to redirect an established scratching habit.

Do not force the cat’s paws onto the board. Encourage voluntary use with play, praise or a small amount of the included catnip.

Check the Velcro fastening regularly, particularly after energetic scratching sessions. Retighten the straps if the board begins to move.

When one cardboard surface has been worn down, remove the board and turn it around so the reverse side faces outward.

After both sides are worn, fit the Kunduchi brown refill board and continue using the existing sheath and straps.
