Baycox Oral Suspension for Pigs, Cattle and Sheep Oral Suspension is intended for veterinary use in:

• Neonatal piglets (day 3–5 of life)
• Cattle
• Sheep

It is used for the prevention and treatment of coccidiosis in pigs, and for the treatment of coccidiosis in cattle and sheep. Best results are achieved when treatment is given before the expected onset of clinical signs (prepatent period), especially in herds where disease patterns are predictable.

Dosage & Administration

Use only as directed. Shake well before use.

Pigs

Each piglet should be treated between day 3–5 of life with a single oral dose of 20 mg toltrazuril/kg body mass.

This corresponds to 0.4 ml oral suspension per kg body mass.

Because of the small volumes required, dosing equipment with 0.1 ml accuracy is recommended. Treatment during an outbreak may be of limited value for individual piglets if intestinal damage has already occurred.

Cattle

Each animal should receive a single oral dose of 15 mg toltrazuril/kg body mass.

This corresponds to 3 ml oral suspension per 10 kg body mass.

Sheep

Each animal should receive a single oral dose of 20 mg toltrazuril/kg body mass.

This corresponds to 0.4 ml oral suspension per kg body mass.

For maximum benefit in cattle and sheep, treat animals before expected clinical signs appear, particularly in operations where timing of outbreaks is known and predictable.
