The pad feels slightly cooler than the surrounding environment while activated. Duration depends on room temperature, the dog’s body heat, airflow and continuous contact.

Select a size that allows the dog to place a useful portion of its body on the surface. The whole dog does not need to fit perfectly for the pad to provide a cooler contact area.

Medium is easier to fit inside compact resting areas and carry during travel. Large provides greater surface coverage.

Use the pad on a cool indoor floor, inside a suitable crate or in a shaded resting area. Do not position it in direct sun.

Store it flat where possible and avoid sharp folds that could stress the sealed construction.

Materials and Safety

The Chillax pad uses a sealed outer cover containing pressure-activated cooling material. The surface must remain intact so the contents stay enclosed.
