Silica Cat Litter Crystals

Product Details

All three bag sizes contain the same crystal-litter format. Choose according to tray size, number of cats and preferred purchasing frequency.

The litter should be used in a clean, dry tray large enough for the cat to enter, turn and dig comfortably.

Position the tray in a quiet, accessible area away from food and drinking water. Multi-cat homes generally benefit from more than one litter tray.

Keep the unused bag sealed and dry so the crystals do not absorb environmental moisture before use.

Materials and Safety

The litter is made from absorbent silica crystals for use in cat litter trays. It is not edible and should not be offered as a mineral or digestive supplement.

• Pour gently into a clean, dry tray.
• Keep the bag away from children.
• Prevent pets from playing with the unused litter.
• Wash hands after tray maintenance.
• Do not flush used litter down the toilet.
• Keep the storage bag dry and closed.
• Replace heavily contaminated litter promptly.
• Use reasonable ventilation around the tray area.

Although the product is described as dust free, pour any dry litter slowly and avoid placing the tray directly beside food-preparation areas.

Kittens or cats that repeatedly eat litter need attention. Remove access and discuss persistent litter-eating behaviour with a veterinary professional.

Pregnant people and individuals with reduced immunity should take additional care with cat waste because litter trays may contain infectious organisms. Another household member should clean the tray where possible.

Do not mix household chemicals, fragrance oils or disinfectant directly into the litter unless the added product is intended for that use.

Directions for Use

1. Empty and clean the litter tray.
2. Allow the tray to dry fully.
3. Add an even layer of silica crystals.
4. Introduce the cat to the clean tray.
5. Remove solid waste every day.
6. Stir the remaining crystals gently.
7. Replace the complete contents when needed.

Use enough litter for the cat to dig and cover waste without filling the tray so deeply that crystals scatter excessively over the edge.

A litter mat placed outside the tray can help collect crystals carried on paws. Sweep escaped pieces regularly.

When transitioning from another material, begin with mostly familiar litter and add a smaller amount of silica crystals. Increase the crystal proportion over several changes.

Clean the empty tray with a suitable pet-safe product, rinse where required and allow it to dry before adding fresh crystals.

Dispose of used litter in a sealed household-waste bag. Do not flush the crystals or cat waste down the toilet.
